September, One of our favorite times of year. The air starts to change and that can only mean one thing: It’s Fringe Festival time.
We have loved Fringe since seeing Bandaloop dance on the side of the HSBC building back in 2012 (not sure on the year but it was a while ago.) We loved going to the Spiegeltent and were honored when we were chosen to be a venue through our former restaurant Nox. When Nox closed it’s event room, Salena’s took over Fringe and hosted for the last 2 years. We have had musicians, comedians, interactive theater and everything in between.
This year we is the first year our Fringe shows have taken place in the restaurant instead of in an event space. At first we thought we wouldn’t be a venue any longer but instead just became more creative. We are building a tent in the middle of the restaurant. We are having a blas preparing our shows. We are bringing back 2 of our sold out shows, 4 Idiots and a bottle and Bossing. We are adding a Dinner that goes wrong and a hot wing challenge. We have guest performers creating improvisational dance to line up with our cocktails, bar jokes at the outdoor bar and Couples Tarot card reading, The randomness and fun is one of my favorite parts of being a business owner. During Fringe you can truly do anything.
